Hello, my name is Connie Williams. I have been in the Allied Health Field for 26 exciting years. I received my training as a Medical Assistant at National Education Center in Houston, TX. in 1987 and have attended Lee Community College& Angelina Community College in Texas and TVI Community College in New Mexico with apprenticeship in Nursing. I have taught in the Medical Field for 11 years. I opened my first school, Southwest Certifications, LLC, in 2004 in Albuquerque, NM. I have taught at Lamson Institute in San Antonio, TX. as a full time Medical Assistant Instructor and a full time Clinical Medical Laboratory Assistant, EKG and Phlebotomy Instructor with part time instruction in Medical Billing and Coding. I recently resigned so that I can dedicate my time to changing futures and being apart of students changing their lives through Central Texas Phlebotomy Institute. I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my family and friends, hunting and fishing, traveling if time permits and camping! See You In Class!! |

Hello, my name is Doug Williams. I am a former Combat Life Saver and Blackhawk Crew Chief with the United States Army. A proud member of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne). I have a combined 28 years experience in aviation, which includes over 15 years in management and financial positions. My current positions include full time employment with FedEx as a Senior Aircraft Maintenance Technician, Owner of a local general aviation repair facility and as the CFO of Central Texas Phlebotomy Institute.
I have been married for 21 years to his wonderful wife, Connie. I have three children, Emily, 27, Jessica, 26, Kody, 21 and two grandchildren. My hobbies include flying, camping, hiking, hunting, motorcycle riding and just about anything that can be done outdoors. |

Ola!! My name is Emily. I have a little over 7 year’s experience teaching Phlebotomy with Connie. I currently live in Houston, TX and I am pursuing my BSN degree for nursing at Wharton County Junior College. I have also attended college at Angelina College and Austin Community College. I am married to my wonderful husband, Homero Burciaga, and together we have a 4-year old son named Nicholas, who is the absolute light of my life! I love teaching, but also at the same time, learning new things. Knowledge is power! The only way we can hope to overcome our hardships in life is by learning and working to achieve our goals. We all learn something new everyday, so if you keep an open mind and an open heart, God will bless you with unlimited amounts of knowledge. I look forward to meeting all of you! God Bless! |
